Charges
£6.00 for a morning or afternoon session.
£3.00 for dinner time (12.00pm – 1.00pm)
£4.00 for pick up from Moldgreen Nursery.
£10.00 for pick up/drop off and a session.
We are a Nursery Education Funded setting, a You and Two setting and affiliated to the local Children’s Centre.

At Christ Church Playgroup we offer indoor and outdoor experiences where children are free to choose their own activities and experiences. We have a huge range or resources to stimulate all children’s interests so they can learn through play. We offer opportunities for children to learn through all the areas of the curriculum through child initiated play and adult led activities.

Who are we?
Christ Church playgroup has been running in Christ Church parish rooms, Moldgreen, Huddersfield since 1991. At present we have 7 staff and here’s a bit about them.
Paula – Supervisor
Paula started her time at Christ Church Playgroup when her daughter attended the in 2001, she then became a student, then an assistant, then deputy and finally in 2006 took over the running of the group and has been there ever since. She is qualified at level 4 and is currently in the fourth year of her foundation degree in Early Years.
Fahmeda – Deputy
Fahmeda started at Christ Church Playgroup in 2003 as a parent helper when her son came to Christ Church playgroup, since then she has worked her way up from student to playgroup assistant and now holds the post of deputy supervisor qualified at level 4, working full time at the setting.
Michelle – Lead practitioner
Michelle has been with Christ Church Playgroup since 2006 and currently works mornings and does the wrap around care for the setting. She is qualified at level 4 is studying through the Open University and will soon complete her BA Open degree.
Kirsty – Playgroup Assistant
Kirsty joined Christ Church playgroup in 2008 and holds a level two qualification, at present she works mornings and also does the wrap around care, taking the children of at Moldgreen school and helping with lunchtimes at the setting.
Emma Furze – Playgroup Assistant
Emma started at Christ Church Playgroup in 2011 and is qualified at level 3, she currently works afternoons and will continue to do so as she studies at Huddersfield University.
Clare Phayer – Lunchtime Supervisor
Clare has been with the group since 2006 and is qualified at level 2, she started with the group as a student and is now happy to be in her new position as lunchtime supervisor watching the children in our dinner time club.
Laura Eaton – Relief Assistant
Laura started at Christ Church Playgroup in 2011 and is qualified at level 3, she is our relief member of staff and covers any sessions that we need her.
